TROUBLE SHOOTING STEP:
Slot cars have two wire braids underneath that transfer the power from the track to the car. If the car crashes a lot then the braids unwind a little, if the braids from one side of the car touch the braid from the other side of the car then the track will have a quick short circuit and shut down so the car won’t run. All that needs to be done is to check the braids regularly and squish them back tighter so they don’t touch. The track will work again as soon as the braids aren’t touching.
